ROME (AFP) - AS Roma's Brazilian midfielder Taddei said Friday that the capital-based club must quickly forget their Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester United.
Roma have a crucial trip to Udinese on Saturday night, a match they must win to try to keep the pressure on leaders Inter Milan.
The champions lead Roma by four points with six games remaining and themselves have a tough task on Sunday as they host fourth-place Fiorentina.
Both Fiorentina and Udinese are chasing fourth place and Champions League football next season and will be as motivated for the matches as the top two.
Roma are also coming off the back of Wednesday's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in the Champions League quarter-final second leg at Old Trafford, completing a 3-0 aggregate success for the English champions.
But Taddei says his teammates must quickly refocus on the league.
"We have in front of us an important run-in in the league and we have to fight to win, we have to be aware of that and we have to work on our run-in," he said.
"In Manchester we played well even if we lost but now we have to think about the championship because that match is over and we're out.
"We can't make the mistake of thinking of others, we have to concentrate on our own game in Udine against difficult opposition."
Meanwhile Udinese's Turkish midfielder Gokhan Inler believes his team have no fear coming into the game.
They are on a seven-match unbeaten run and have launched themselves back into Champions League contention having seemed to have dropped away a little over a month a go.
They are in a battle with Fiorentina, AC Milan, who are at Juventus, and Sampdoria, who play Reggina, in a battle for fourth spot.
And Inler insists they are not interested in what anyone else does.
"I'm not thinking about what happens elsewhere, I'm not interested in the results in Milan and Turin," he said.
"We just have to do our best to express ourselves to give ourselves a chance of winning.
"We'll talk about the league table in May."
